An Open Letter to President Trump
Dear Mr. President,
You don’t know me, but I’ve admired you all my life. I grew up a few miles from New York City in northern New Jersey and am part of the same “Bridge and Tunnel Club” that Manhattanites often condescendingly refer to us as.
While unpalatable to most Americans, your brashness is the very thing I admire most about you. Remember that time about 25 years ago when you left a message on Tucker Carlson’s answering machine after he said he had better hair than you?
“It’s true you have better hair than I do. But I get more p***y than you do.” Click.
Genius.
Since I speak as plainly as you do and have so much respect for you, it falls to me to tell you something that probably hasn’t even occurred to you.
Here goes.
Your second term as President is nothing short of a complete car crash. It’s Braindead Biden with a more secure border. Sure, you made peace between some foreign enemies most Americans can’t place on a map. But other than that, I don’t know what happened.
It seems to me the entire donor class revolted after Liberation Day, and now you’re doing their bidding. Since you’re a billionaire who can’t run for re-election, I’m not sure why you need donors at all.
But I don’t want to sound like I’m merely bitching at you without any solutions. So here’s what you need to do specifically before midterms to save your Presidency. (Hint: fixing the Congressional district gerrymandering issue isn’t enough if young conservatives don’t come out to vote.)
The H-B1 Catastrophe
First and foremost, you need to clarify your remarks about these visas.
I know you meant to say, “We need talent right now, and right now we don’t have enough of it in America.”
But what you actually said was, “No, you don’t. No, you don’t. You don’t have certain talents, and people have to learn. You have to bring in talent… You can’t take people off an unemployment line and say, ‘I’m going to put you in a factory, and we’re going to make missiles.’”
It came across as if you were saying America had no talent. You need to get in front of this now. If you don’t, at midterms, you’ll lose the young voters who won you the last election.
And if you’re worried about Elon or Peter Thiel getting mad at you, here are some statistics and anecdotes to back you up.
The unemployment rate for 20- to 24-year-olds in the US is 9.2%, the highest level since 2016.
80% of H-1B approvals are for entry-level jobs. According to Fox News, 70% of H-1B visa holders come from India. Another 10-15% from China. Why are you employing BRICS kids instead of American kids?
Tech Wonderkid Palmer Luckey recently said, ”You would not believe what I saw in Silicon Valley. The H-1B abuse is insane. It is obviously a scam to replace US workers with, basically, slave labor that can’t ever escape.”
Trust your instincts about the H1-B situation, Mr. President. Some really smart person said in 2016, “It's very bad for our workers and it's unfair for our workers and we should end it.”
That person was Presidential candidate Donald Trump.
50-Year Mortgages Are a Sign of Policy Failure
I already wrote about the stupidity of the $2,000 “tariff dividend.”
But 50-year mortgages? They aren’t a solution. They are a consequence of policy failure.
If housing were affordable, you wouldn’t need a 50-year mortgage. It’s that simple. The money printing is still out of control, as M2 just hit an all-time high. And fiscal deficits are ludicrous:
- Fiscal year 2025: $1.78 trillion deficit, representing about 5.9% of GDP.
- Fiscal year 2024: $1.82 trillion deficit, approximately 6.4% of GDP.
- Fiscal year 2023: $1.70 trillion deficit, about 6.2% of GDP.
Get printing and spending down, and you’ll get inflation down. Once you do that, house prices will follow.
Stop Hassling Venezuela
I don’t like Maduro, either.
But the U.S. has no business invading Venezuela.
Doing so is unethical and immoral, and would almost certainly break international law. It’ll inflame an already fragile region and deepen the suffering of ordinary Venezuelans.
History isn’t exactly on our side here, either. Past U.S. adventures in Latin America have produced years of blowback, empowered strongmen, and undermined the democratic ideals they were supposed to promote.
An invasion now would only drive more people to flee, fuel criminal networks, and push the region into even greater chaos.
Don’t turn gunboat diplomacy into an accidental war.
The Israeli Elephant in the Room
The current U.S.–Israel relationship is drifting into a zone that no serious politician can defend with a straight face.
You’re underwriting a war you don’t control, absorbing political and diplomatic costs you can no longer afford, and watching your strategic priorities get hijacked by a foreign government whose goals increasingly diverge from yours.
The American people think U.S. foreign policy is being outsourced to donors and pressure groups.

Break With Miriam Adelson
Your long-standing relationship with Miriam Adelson is now untenable. The billionaire helped fuel your rise. Still, her expectations now sit at odds with what a second Trump term requires. You know that, which is why you called her out the last time you both were in Israel.
Suppose you allow Adelson’s preferences to dictate American policy. In that case, you will have inherited the same trap every modern president has fallen into—outsourcing strategic judgment to a donor class that treats U.S. interests as negotiable.
If you want to reset the U.S.–Israel relationship on terms that benefit America first, you need daylight between yourself and Adelson. No hard feelings, no drama - just a necessary recalibration so you can act in America’s best interest.
Fire Kash Patel
FBI Director Kash Patel is about as useful as a chocolate chastity belt. He has to go.
No Epstein papers, even though Patel said he’d release them on “Day 1” if confirmed as FBI Director.
Nothing about the Charlie Kirk case. In fact, Candace Owens revealed that the FBI seized the surveillance footage from the hospital where Charlie Kirk was taken. Why would they do that?
No arrests of any sort, for anything. I’m not sure what Patel is doing in the J. Edgar Hoover Building.

Kash Patel’s girlfriend, Alexis Wilkins, just filed a $5M defamation lawsuit against Elijah Schafer and Sam Parker for claiming she’s a Mossad honeypot.
Are you kidding me?
This looks terrible, and you need to fix it.
Ben Shapiro and Mark Levin Are Net Negatives
“If you’re a young person and you can’t afford to live here, then maybe you should not live here,” said Shapiro on the Triggernometrypodcast.
In fairness to Shapiro, this quote was taken out of context. And yes, it has been a feature of American life for families to move for economic reasons. But claiming God gave the Israelites property rights that extend over thousands of years while demanding Americans make necessary changes is rich.
Both Shapiro and Levin have built their brands on absolutist, maximalist rhetoric about Israel, foreign policy, and the culture war. That’s fine for talk radio and YouTube, where there’s no downside to moral grandstanding.
But you’re governing, not hosting a podcast. When Shapiro and Levin blast anyone who questions Israeli policy as a traitor or an antisemite, they shrink the political space you need to maneuver. Instead of letting you recalibrate the U.S.–Israel relationship in a way that aligns with American interests, guys like Levin and Shapiro punish even modest deviations as betrayal.
crISIS In the White House
Even if the strategic logic is sound (and there is a case for talking to adversaries), the optics of inviting new Syrian “President” Ahmed al-Sharaa into the Oval Office are brutal.
In fact, that guy is also known as this guy:

Seriously.
I know he’s not ISIS, but what American can genuinely tell the difference? He was a brutal warrior who’s now running the show there.
Syria is still synonymous in the American mind with civil war, chemical weapons, ISIS, and Iranian influence. Your White House photo-op instantly became a campaign ad for every Democratic PAC in the country: “Trump embraces dictator.”
Again, you need to find a way to explain this to the American public… with massive benefits.
Wrap Up
Mr. President, I hope you’ll find a way to implement these recommendations. If you don’t, you’ll lose your youthful right-wing base. And that means you’ll lose the midterm elections.
And if you don’t, your last two years in office will be hell, unless you spend them on a golf course. However, Congress will never codify your Executive Orders, and your legacy will be tarnished, as JD Vance won’t be given the chance to carry it on.
Move quickly, Mr. President. Time is of the essence.
And good luck.
P.S. As for the unofficial Rude portfolio, I will be buying Jaguar Mining (JAG.TO) on the Toronto Stock Exchange with the cash left from selling my more adventurous positions. You can get in first, as I’m unable to execute those trades electronically.
